The cave-dwelling frog is a recently discovered species (1979) from the Kimberley region of WA. As such, information on it is sparse.

Name: Litoria cavernicola

Common Name: Cave-dwelling Frog.

Description: (After Tyler et al., 1994) A moderate-sized greenish-brown species with short hindlimbs. It has a large and distinct tympanum (that circular bit behind the ear) and distinctly expanded toe discs. Size: 45-57 mm.

Call: Unknown

Habitat: Caves in the sandstone gorges of the Mitchell Plateau, Kimberley, WA.
