
Common Name: Spotted-thighed Frog
Description: (After Tyler et al., 1994) A slender, moderately large tree frog with unwebbed fingers bearing prominent toe discs and fully developed webbing between the toes. The back is dark green to brown, dappled with small gold or bronze patches. The groin and thighs bear clear, pale-yellow patches. Size: 56-77 mm.
Distribution: Southeast of southwestern Australia. East of Albany to Hopetoun and Ravensthorpe.
Call: Like the distant sound of wood being sawn (Main, 1965).
Breeding: Unknown.
Habitat: Swamps
and permanent water sources.
